JAMMU, Oct 10, 2025: To mark World Mental Health Day 2025, the Magic Bus India Foundation, under the Nestlé Healthy Kids Programme, organized an awareness and wellness session at Government High School, Greater Kailash, Jammu.
Aligned with this year’s theme, “Mental Health is a Universal Human Right,” the initiative focused on emotional well-being and stress management for adolescents and teachers.
Yoga and fitness trainer Ms. Zoha Barkat led interactive sessions on mindfulness, relaxation, and breathing techniques such as Box Breathing, Bhramari, and Om Chanting, helping participants experience calmness and improve focus.
As part of promoting holistic health and hygiene, Magic Bus also distributed dustbins and hand soaps to the school, encouraging students to adopt clean and healthy habits.
The programme saw enthusiastic participation from 153 students and teachers. Principal Ms. Vandana Baboo lauded the initiative, saying it was an engaging and meaningful session that highlighted the importance of mental and emotional well-being in schools.
“Such sessions help students and teachers develop the skills to manage stress and build resilience, which are crucial for their overall growth,” she added.
