Srinagar, Jan 11: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday unveiled the Handicrafts and Handloom Department’s Calendar for 2026, describing it as a visual tribute to Kashmir’s timeless craft traditions and the artisans who sustain them.

The calendar captures the essence of the Valley’s rich artistic heritage, highlighting the skill, dedication and commitment of local craftsmen, an official spokesperson said.

He added that the hands of artisans carry forward centuries-old traditions, transforming raw materials into masterpieces that reflect the spirit, resilience and cultural legacy of Kashmir.
