Jammu, Jan 8: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday flagged off a contingent of young leaders from Jammu and Kashmir to New Delhi for the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue at the National Youth Festival 2025. He urged the youth to take charge of their destiny and shape the future of the Union Territory.
“Youth are the architects of their destiny and the future of Jammu and Kashmir. Remove the word ‘impossible’ from your dictionary and march ahead with confidence,” Sinha said while addressing the participants and officials.
The LG highlighted the festival as a prestigious platform to showcase Jammu and Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage and diversity through folk dance, poetry, painting, and music. He encouraged the participants to excel in their competitions while exploring avenues for nation-building.
“This event equips our youth to tackle future challenges with a patriotic spirit and a sense of responsibility,” Sinha said, reiterating Jammu and Kashmir’s significant place on India’s cultural map.
The festival also fosters interaction among youth from diverse districts, promoting mutual understanding and cultural appreciation. During an interactive session, participants shared their aspirations and discussed the role of the younger generation in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
