Rajouri, Oct 11: Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma on Friday visited the forward areas in Rajouri to review the operational preparedness amid the current security situation in the region.
During his visit, Lt Gen Sharma interacted with troops deployed along the Line of Control and lauded their steadfast commitment, exceptional professionalism, and unwavering dedication in maintaining a high level of combat readiness.
He emphasized the importance of continuous operational preparedness, innovative training techniques, and a rapid response mechanism to effectively counter the evolving security challenges in the area.
The Army Commander also reiterated the need for maintaining synergy among all security agencies to ensure peace and stability in the region, even as the forces continue to remain on heightened alert following recent militant activities in parts of Jammu and Rajouri.
