Lt Governor Kavinder Gupta Asks Ladakh Administration to Draft 100-Day Action Plan, Emphasises Teamwork

Leh, July 19: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, on Friday chaired an introductory meeting with Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Departments (HoDs) of the Union Territory and set a clear tone for his administration — accountability, speed, and teamwork.

Addressing the top brass of Ladakh’s bureaucracy, LG Gupta underlined that he has assumed the role with a deep sense of duty entrusted to him by the Prime Minister and the President of India. He urged officials to work in close coordination and uphold the spirit of collective responsibility in driving Ladakh’s development.

“The people of Ladakh are looking at us with hope. We must deliver measurable outcomes through time-bound and mission-driven governance,” he said during the meeting.

One of the key directives issued by the LG was the formulation of a 100-day action plan by all departments. Gupta asked Administrative Secretaries and HoDs to prepare a realistic yet ambitious roadmap with specific deliverables that align with the larger developmental goals of the UT.

The meeting served as a crucial first step in syncing the administration with the Lieutenant Governor’s priorities, focusing on infrastructure, public service delivery, environmental resilience, and empowerment of local communities.

Officials present assured full cooperation and committed to adopting a result-oriented approach in the coming weeks.
