JAMMU, Apr 20: In view of the ongoing inclement weather, authorities have ordered the closure of all government and private schools in Leh and Kargil districts from April 21 to April 23, 2025.
The decision follows continuous rainfall and fresh snowfall in the region, heightening the risk of landslides and rockfalls. Officials said the precautionary measure is aimed at ensuring the safety of students and staff as weather conditions remain unpredictable.
Residents have been advised to follow official weather updates and avoid travel to vulnerable areas.
