Terrorist Hideout Busted in Anantnag Forests, Recoveries Made

Srinagar, Sep 30: In a major anti-terror operation, the Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Jammu and Kashmir Police today busted a terrorist hideout in the dense Hornag-Watkash forest area of Anantnag district.

During the search operation, security forces recovered an abandoned, camouflaged hideout stocked with bags, clothes, tools, a gas cylinder, and suspected war-like stores (WLS).

Officials said the recovery has dealt a blow to terrorist infrastructure in the region, though no militants were found at the site. Searches in the area are continuing to rule out any further presence of terror modules.
