Maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles is crucial, as sudden acceleration could lead to skidding or loss of control.
Authorities have also advised against driving through flooded, muddy, or hilly areas, particularly in snowbound regions. Motorists should ensure that their vehicle’s tires, brakes, and windshield wipers are in optimal condition. Extreme caution is advised on under-construction highways and other roads.
