Katra, Sept 12: The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra, which had been temporarily suspended due to inclement weather and essential track maintenance, will resume from September 14 (Sunday), the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board announced on Friday.
Officials said the resumption of the pilgrimage is subject to favourable weather conditions, and necessary safety measures have been put in place for devotees.
Pilgrims have been advised to carry valid identification documents, follow the designated pathways, and extend full cooperation to the Shrine Board staff and security personnel on the ground.
For live updates, booking facilities, and helpline support, devotees can visit the Shrine Board’s official website — www.maavaishnodevi.org.
Expressing gratitude for the patience shown by devotees during the suspension period, the Shrine Board said the resumption of the Yatra symbolizes the collective faith and resilience of pilgrims. “The Board remains committed to upholding the sanctity, safety and dignity of this revered pilgrimage,” the statement added.
