Two Killed, 15 Injured in Powerful Blast in Quetta
Quetta, Sept 30: At least two people were killed and 15 others injured when a powerful explosion ripped through Pakistan’s Quetta city on Tuesday, officials said.
The blast prompted the Balochistan Health Department to impose an emergency in hospitals across the city to deal with the rush of casualties, Health Secretary Mujeebur Rehman confirmed.
Security forces cordoned off the area soon after the explosion, while rescue teams shifted the injured to nearby hospitals. The cause of the blast was not immediately known.
