Foundation Day of Meghalaya, Manipur, and Tripura Celebrated at J&K Raj Bhavan

Jammu, Jan 21: The Foundation Day of Meghalaya, Manipur, and Tripura was celebrated at the Jammu and Kashmir Raj Bhavan with a vibrant cultural program organized to honor the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. The event was attended by students, security personnel, and residents of Tripura, Meghalaya, and Manipur living in Jammu and Kashmir.

In his address, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the three northeastern states. He paid tribute to the notable figures from these states, highlighting their pivotal contributions to the nation’s growth and development.

The Lieutenant Governor also spoke about the socio-economic transformation of the North Eastern States under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the rapid and inclusive development that has aligned the aspirations of the region with those of the nation.

“Tripura, Meghalaya, and Manipur are treasure troves of India’s rich traditions, culture, folk art, and crafts,” Lieutenant Governor Sinha remarked. “Today, these states have emerged as key growth engines for the country, inspiring society with their spiritual ideals and cultural values. With immense pride, I wish for these blessed states to continue reaching new heights in growth, progress, and development. I also wish the people happiness, peace, and prosperity in the years to come.”
