Kashmir, Kashmiriyat incomplete without KPs: Karra
Jammu, Feb 27:- JKPCC President Shri Tariq Hameed Karra alongwith Working President Raman Bhalla,Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma,Former Minister Yogesh Sawhney,Ex-MLC Ved Mahajan,Migrant cell Chairman H L Pandita visited Migrant Camp to exchange Mahashivratri greetings.
A number of kashmiri pandit families welcomed Shri Karra and team of senior Congress leaders in the camp and held a function at Community Hall to celebrate the occasion.
In his message,JKPCC Chief said that humanity comes first of all religions. All festivals belong to everyone and should be celeberated together. He said that kashmir and Kashmiriyat is incomplete without Kashmiri Pandits.He said there is lot of pain in his heart over sufferings of migrant community and their being away from home.He assured them that their house will be highlited in every possible manner.
They also appreciated the efforts of Raman Bhalla for them as Minister.Bhalla also assured them full support in future too.
The community felicitated Mr Karra with a shawl on the occassion.
The speakers also recalled the contributions of Dr Manmohan Singh for the welfare of the community.
The participants discussed their issues of concern and hardships faced by them including lack of adequate health facilities in the township.Raj Nath Dhar, M K Raina, Daleep Kumar, Shiban pandit, Manish and others spoke & welcomed them.
Two minutes silence was also observed in the memory of Shadi Lal Pandita, who lost life in a road accident few months back while returning from Rahul Gandhi’s rally in Jammu.
