Kishtwar, Jan 3: The Indian Army organized a successful Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally in Dul, Kishtwar, underscoring its continued commitment to the welfare of veterans, Veer Naris, and widows.
The event included grievance redressal cells to resolve pay and pension issues, medical help desks offering health check-ups and free medicines, and CSD and non-CSD outlets providing daily essentials. Additionally, E-Suvidha Kendras were set up to facilitate Aadhaar and PAN updates, while representatives from leading banks provided valuable information on welfare and financial schemes available to ex-servicemen.
The rally also served as a powerful reminder of the Army’s enduring bond with its extended family, offering continued support to those who have served the nation. Veterans were united with current military personnel, government officials, dignitaries, and the public, who expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices made by the Indian Armed Forces.
